Bio: Christopher
Starr began performing magic in 1976 as a teenager living in
Kansas City. At a time when most boys his age were playing football
and working on their cars, Chris was busy in his parent's basement
building tricks and stage illusions, training doves to magically
appear from 'nowhere' and spending his money at the local magic
shops. By the time he was 20, Chris was presenting his own grand
illusion show titled "Christopher Starr's Galaxy of Magic"
for a limited run at the Lyric Theatre in Kansas City. He was
the youngest performer ever to present a full magic stage show
in Kansas City, a record that stands to this day!
Chris later modified his show to present as a solo act, working
corporate functions and conventions, comedy clubs, colleges
and universities, fairs and festivals. He has appeared on numerous
local tv shows, and has entertained thousands of people across
mid-America.
Today, Chris features many up-to-date illusions in his show,
like those that have been seen on TV and in Las Vegas, and his
show is one of the largest magic productions in the state of
Kansas!
For over 25 years, Christopher's goal has been to offer his
audiences the very best in magical entertainment, a tradition
that continues to this day!
