Description: WHen a magician pulls a rabbit from a hat, that's one of the classics of stage magic.

Most magic is performed on a stage, or platform. If it is a small stage or a room where magic is performed,it is called parlor or platform magic. All are grouped together under the heading of stage magic. There may or may not be props involved, as sleight of hand acts often use very little in the ways of props. Most stage magic is presented using props or illusions to accomplish the magic.

In this course, Steve covers the performance of stage magic in all types of venues, from small rooms to large theaters. He discusses prop management, act design, props, sound, lights, scenery, backdrops, costumes, animals, transportation, curtains, and more.

Everything you ever wanted or needed to know n order to present a magic show on a stage, for fun or profit.

Steve teaches a few great routines, two per lesson, that are highly effective for almost any stage situation.

For the working professional, Steve discusses the business and marketing aspects of stage magic, including tried and true methods for booking shows.

Including in the course are Steve's master run-down sheets of numerous shows, with routines and sequences that can be combined to create any length of act, for any situation.

CLASS FORMAT: 4 Lessons are sent via email (and also available online) during a 5 week period.
